KONINGSDAG 2024!

Are you ready to party? Koningsdag 2024 is only months away, and we simply cannot contain our excitement!

The magnificent Pipe Shop at the Shipyards in North Vancouver will become our vibrant hub for the entire day. Brace yourself for an explosion of Orange entertainment as a Dutch festival takes over. With the support of Dutch organizations and the Consulate of the Netherlands, our day program promises to be phenomenal. And that’s not all – be prepared to tantalize your taste buds with a mouthwatering selection of typical Dutch food from the delightful food trucks stationed outside.

Koningsdag 2024But wait, it gets even better! The Dutch Network party in the evening will be an absolute sensation! Brace yourself for an epic dance party! As the Godfather of Dutch dance music DJs, the illustrious Ben Liebrand, a Dutch Network member, will take center stage at our highly anticipated ticketed event. For those who remember the glory days of Radio Veronica on Hilversum 3 in the 80s and 90s, you’ll instantly recognize Ben from his iconic shows like ‘In The Mix,’ ‘de Minimix,’ and the legendary ‘100plus Grandmix.’ This extraordinary artist has collaborated with music legends such as Sting, TLC, Phil Collins, The Doobie Brothers, Bill Withers, Salt-N-Pepa, and so on. It’s no wonder that Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Olav Basoski, DJ Jean, Ferry Corsten, and DJ Dano consider Liebrand their main reason for entering the music business.

Imagine yourself among 300 passionate community members coming together for this electrifying dance party. The opening act will be DJ Rene Sloos, another Dutch Network member from Nanaimo. Dance the night away, fueled by the energy of the open bar and savour the delectable delights offered at the various food stations. Trust us, this is an experience you simply cannot miss. Mark your calendars for March, when tickets for this extraordinary event will go on sale. Get ready, because Koningsdag 2024 will be an unforgettable celebration of joy, music, and the vibrant Dutch spirit!
