DESCRIPTION:Vancouver Bike Ride \nSaturday May 19th\, 2018:  The Dutch Bicycling Club will start their monthly rides with an enjoyable 22 km Bike Ride\, for every level of performance\, in the Vancouver. Families are very welcome to join. \nWe will get together at the Coal Harbor Community Centre at 480 Broughton at 10:30am and we will be leaving at 11:00 am. There will be plenty of parking at the Community Centre. Enter from Jervis for underground parking or Broughton for outside. \nAdriana and Bruce will be at the Community Centre at 10.30 am to greet everyone. The bike ride starts at 11 am for an easy and beautiful ride around Stanley Park\, English Bay towards the Science Centre and Granville Island. At Granville Island\, we will have lunch at Mahony and Sons at Stamps Landing around 1 pm and afterwards\, continue with a ferry boat ride to the Hornby dock. From there we drive along English Bay to Lost Lagoon and back to the meeting place at Coal Harbor. We will be back sometime between 2pm and 3pm. \n“Dutchies” of course show their pride in their heritage by wearing the colour “Oranje” and it will keep you safe on the road as well. Barbara & Peter will send out an e-mail reminder about 3 days before the event. If this bike trip needs to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions we will re-schedule for May 26th\, same time\, same place. In event of cancellation only\, Adriana and Bruce will notify everyone (on their e-mail list) on Saturday May 19th at 8.30am in the morning.
